New Product In Store for Harrods from Horizon Group | Horizon Group – Bespoke Metal Fabrication

The Horizon Group was once again able to demonstrate our flexibility and diverse product range through a recent project undertaken with the world’s most renowned luxury store, Harrods.

2012 saw Harrods move to a brand new 140, 000 square feet distribution centre in Thatcham, West Berkshire where over one million units can be stored at any one time. As befitting the world’s leading luxury department store the Thames Valley distribution centre’s sole purpose is to deliver a service that is slick, smooth and to the highest standards and ultimately acts as a direct representation of the store itself.

To help maintain these high standards Harrods has purchased a suite of full security roll cages and half size bespoke cages from the Horizon Group to enable them to deliver their goods in to the acclaimed Knightsbridge store.

To take in to account specialist requirements and circumstances the cages have also been modified to specifications laid out by the Harrods Distribution Management team. To ensure that all dangers of marks being made to the store’s flooring are eliminated specialist castors have been installed and as well as this, additional features have been added for increased security.
